Portrait Basics in Pencil
Create beautiful portraits through simple instruction in line and proportion in this 2 evening class. During our second class, we will provide live models to sketch. Open to all levels of ability- no prior experience necessary.

Teacher: Elizabeth Parant is an artist and teacher and has recently returned from Bordeaux, France where she taught in an international school. She is a Wheaton graduate and has been accepted into the Peace Corp for the fall of 2018. Come enjoy Liz's humor, wit, intellect, and creative style in this lively portrait class.

Introduction to Drypoint Intaglio
Create beautiful line drawings and transfer them into etchings on the printmaking press. This course will introduce and expand one's knowledge about drypoint intaglio printmaking. A great course for those new to intaglio techniques. A perfect medium for those who like to draw and use line for detail and value.

Teacher: Doreen Lindenburg has been teaching fine arts for 22 years. She has a BFA in Printmaking and a masters in education. Doreen is the owner of 7 Suns.

Monoprinting- Learn the basics of both drypoint and monoprinting into a drypoint etching. No prior experience necessary! This course takes monotypes as well as etchings and brings them into the next level through use of addtional techniques such as chine colle and viscosity printmaking which add tone, color, and texture to the final image.
